Known gaps
- Indexing & query plans (
EXPLAIN, B-tree vs. hash) — the single biggest interview gap in this area. - Isolation levels and MVCC in Postgres — nothing yet.
- Storage engines (buffer pool, WAL, B-tree on disk) — a HUB bridge to master-cs Operating System; write it once, link both ways.
- Connection pooling is described only through Hyperdrive; the general concept (pool sizes, pgbouncer, exhaustion) deserves its own page.
Maintenance
Add a row per new concept; keep the Hyperdrive page’s “open questions” list shrinking.
